A Whole-Food Plant-Based (WFPB) diet can significantly reduce blood pressure, with average reductions of about 5–15 mm Hg in systolic pressure (the top number) and 2–10 mm Hg in diastolic pressure (the bottom number). This typically translates to a reduction of 5% to 10% in overall blood pressure levels.
